From our Prior Election Efforts (2019): Congratulations to the 3 CCC City Council Winners!
The whole CCC slate of candidates ran great races! 37% of our candidates were elected, a higher rate than any other slate except the far better funded majority party which has been in power for years. We are thrilled with the success our first class of CCC candidates. And congratulations to the other slate Councillors who were elected in 2019. Thanks also to the amazing CCC activists who helped to make this happen!

Because of the Cambridge system of voting, these developer and other building trade donations also impact non-incumbent candidates on the same slate, since the votes for candidates who have already met the necessary quota to win election are passed down to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th choices of each voter.
For non-incumbent candidates on a slate, they also are beneficiaries of the developer and building trade-linked money flowing to the incumbent candidates on a slate. For ABC-AF the allied non-incumbent candidates include Burhan Azeem, Risa Mednick, Adrienne Musgrave, and Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler. For CCC-AC the allied non-incumbent candidates include Derek Kopon, Patty Nolan, John Pitkin, Ben Simon, and Nicola Williams. The CCC-AC non-incumbent candidates will NOT be secondary beneficiaries of these developer linked funds.
SIX CORE ISSUES FOR CCC
BECOME PART OF THE CHANGE FOR GOOD IN CAMBRIDGE!
Without citizen activism the scene below is what Cambridge would have become. Without citizen activism we would not have had the Cambridge Historic Commissions - one of the first in the country. Without citizen activism we would not have had a progressive city charter. Without citizen activism we will continue to lose the tree canopy that is critical to our well being (22% loss in the last 10 years).
